These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Successor: Ottomans (the "App"), published by Burak Güngör. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
This license is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement: Apple Standard EULA.
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Premium Unlock") that unlocks the full sultan roster and all historical events of the Ottoman Classical Age. The purchase is non-recurring (no subscription) and is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple's refund policy applies.
Once unlocked, Premium Unlock can be restored on any Apple device signed into the same Apple ID via the in-app "Restore Purchases" option, in accordance with Apple's App Store policies.
This game is a fiction inspired by historical events. It knows that history has no single narrative; some of its references may be incomplete or mistaken. For dramatic effect, events have at times been exaggerated, and by the nature of the game's own flow may have followed a path apart from the course of history. Its purpose is to carry the rich narratives of the past into the language of play, to instill a love of history, and to open an enjoyable span of time for those who already carry that love. It cannot be regarded as an academic source. It targets no person, community, view, or belief, and intends to offend no one.
The App is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by any historian, university, government, or religious institution.

All content in the App — including text, artwork, music, code, and game design — is the intellectual property of Burak Güngör or his licensors. Historical figures and events depicted are in the public domain; our interpretations and presentations of them are not.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Burak Güngör is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect when published at this URL. Continued use of the App after a change indicates acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, except where applicable consumer protection law provides otherwise.
